reports dependency on KDE4-core version 5:47

Bug Description

The version number seams more like a time stamp to me (eg 5:47 pm) I think the version number was supposed to be version 3.2 as that is what the current version of KDE4-core is.

sorry again this is in 8.04 alpha 3 kubuntu if that makes a difference. . . . only 2nd bug report and 1st one was over a year ago. (I'll try and do better next time)

I'm not a sponsor, but your debian/changelog entry says "Adjust dependancy of kde4-devel", while in fact you're adjusting the dependency of meta-kde4 on kde4-core. Could you correct your description?

"kde4-devel" is the (binary) package that I adjusted the dependencies of.
