One vote by a MOTU or core developer is needed (I am MOTU by myself).
flPhoto is a photo management utility with some basic picture enhancement functions and great printing capabilities. This program is written by Mike Sweet, the author of CUPS. Therefore the printing part has a perfect CUPS integration and so the full functionality of all Linux-supported printers can be used without any extra configuration work. One can print one or more photos per page, borderless, with frames/mattes, calendars, and index prints. The control over the layout is excellent, so one can print photos without that important pieces get cut off. This works much better than photo printing with GIMP, digikam, gqview, ...
You find the program and more info at
http://
The program is under GPL 2 or later.
