Bug Description

cppcheck-gui is installable without cppcheck - and this configuration actually works. But the required file std.cfg is missing in this case leading to the following error message:

    Failed to load the selected library 'std.cfg'.
    File not found

=> Perhaps the solution would be to split this file into a separate package named cppcheck-common. But an own package for one simple file feels a bit strange.

This bug was fixed in the package cppcheck - 1.90-3

---------------
cppcheck (1.90-3) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Improve debian/rules (thanks to Lisandro Meyer), in particular fix
    for parallel builds and simplifications (Closes: #949181).
  * Add versioned Depends: cppcheck to cppcheck-gui due to the cfg files
    (Closes: #949199, LP: #1854552).
  * Remove unused debian/clean and debian/dirs.
