Can't view calendar events

There are now different views you can use to view your calendar, and if you're having a hard time finding an event, you can click on year to see all events in the year -- which definitely makes it easier. Wait till the next rollout on Tuesday to see if it's fixed.

However, there is a navigational issue that is bothersome: the day/week/month/year views are really difficult to work with, because moving upwards doesn't usually do what you expect.

It's not that I couldn't find them, they weren't displayed. The events I added display well today, but they didn't show up immediately after adding them. I think there is some sort of update/refresh/display issue.

Ah, I think I figured it out. The events are on my calendar, but the default calendar that appears when you use the calendar function is your "merged" calendar. I suspect maybe what is happening is that your own personal calendar isn't part of your merged one until you subscribe to it? (which is sort of an odd thing, but maybe that is the design).

I haven't investigated all the paths of how you get to your calendar or your merged one, but it is a bit confusing.

This issue doesn't exist in my CalendarAggregation branch, which gets rid of the distinction between "your calendar" and "your merged calendar".

I agree that it is confusing at the moment.

Calendar removed in mainline r5044, so there are no longer any events that need viewing.
