Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

My second hard disk got formated, but it was not told to. Kubuntu ubiquity 1.7.5 20080131.1

I had added set -x to /lib/partman/commit.d/60clear_partitions to avoid bug 187898

Sorry about this! This was due to it looking at the device path rather than the mount point at a crucial point (the device path, of course, *always* starts with /dev ...). Evan fixed this a while back:

partman-target (52ubuntu6) hardy; urgency=low

  * Fixed major bug in 60clear_partitions and re-enabled it.
