Bug Description

Binary package hint: gpsbabel

GPSbabel 1.3.4 has been out since August 2007, but strangely is not included in Hardy (which has 1.3.3)

I suggest/request the most updated gpsbabel to be included?

You could try asking the Debian maintainer at <email address hidden> what's happening.

It's now 1 months later - would anyone mind including this small but important upgrade in time for the release of Hardy? Thanks!

I'm afraid it's too late for Hardy officially.

I however will get the Debian package in my PPA for Hardy.

Bruce; thanks!

Please share information here when it's available and how I can use it. Also - worth considering for hardy-backports after the April release? I'm happy to test...

Thanks!

You'll have to file an Upstream Version Freeze Exception to get this done "properly".

1.3.5 is out now, so maybe we could get even go all the way to 1.3.5 for intrepid and hardy-backports.
