Bug Description
The alert sound feature is broken. See https:/
The sound theme feature got worse in 43. In 43, GNOME changed their alert sounds. The alert sounds are provided directly and not as actual sound themes. I think the following bug was caused by an attempt to migrate users to the new alert sounds.
I've reported this issue to GNOME.
The chosen alert sound doesn't persist in the viewer.
I'm filing this as a separate bug because this is a separate upstream issue than the other alert sound bug.
