Left-over cursor visible on second screen

I have heard this is caused by the triple buffering patch. It's being tracked in:

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Fix proposed in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/2620 but I'll also include it in the next triple buffering update.

Plug a 4k external monitor to XPS 9320, set the external monitor to 100% and set the internal monitor to 200%.
Enable -proposed pocket and install mutter (42.5-0ubuntu1), wiggle mouse 20 times and no cursor left on my internal monitor.

The verification of the Stable Release Update for mutter has completed successfully and the package is now being released to -updates. Subsequently, the Ubuntu Stable Release Updates Team is being unsubscribed and will not receive messages about this bug report. In the event that you encounter a regression using the package from -updates please report a new bug using ubuntu-bug and tag the bug report regression-update so we can easily find any regressions.
