GNOME Console 43 has switched to GTK4 and the final line of text isn't being copied. If there is only one line you are trying to copy, the clipboard is apparently empty.
Test Case
---------
Install the updated vte packages and gnome-console.
Run the Console app.
Run this command:
cat /etc/os-release
Copy a selection that includes the end of the line. One easy way to do this is to triple-click the line. Then right-click and choose Copy.
Then right-click and choose Paste.
All the lines should be pasted including the final line.

This is a one line fix that modifies a function (vte_terminal_
Neither GNOME Builder nor GNOME Console are included by default in any Ubuntu flavor. GNOME Console may replace GNOME Terminal as the default terminal app for Ubuntu Desktop in a future Ubuntu release. This bug was a blocker for that happening.
