Tilda don't have focus when called

Bug Description

Binary package hint: tilda

When i call tilda i can't write into tilda, my text appear in the window behind tilda,
i must click on tilda to have the focus and write into

Confirmed. Another way to get tilda in focus is to make it disappear and call it again without doing anything. This is since updating to hardy and tilda 0.9.5pre. In gutsy it worked in the intended way.

It is in the repository. I have 0.9.5pre installed on my 64bit hardy box.

install tilda 0.95 by complile can't get rid of the bug.

Confirmed.

Works also with hardy by compiling out of the source.
I suggest to rebuild the package.

There was a change in the way metacity's focus stealing prevention works in metacity-2.22. We (the Tilda developers) have added a fix for their change in behavior, in 0.9.5. We are currently working on a 0.9.6 release to fix this issue, which should be out shortly. We are only waiting on launchpad to send us the translations.
