With the latest version of pidgin, is this problem still occuring? I am looking to push things upstream if this problem still exists.

Ryan, it appears as if the plugin associated with the crash, belongs to a xchat-chats plugin provided by http://plugins.guifications.org .. I have forwarded this bug upstream and you can follow it by clicking the link at the top of the launchpad bug page.

I imagine they will do most communication about the bug on their site, so if you wish to help solve this bug, please subscribe to the bug on their site.

Thanks for helping to make ubuntu better as a whole by helping with this bug report.
