This is a bug for the backports team. I closed the filezilla task and opened an hardy-backports one as incomplete (as I've not yet uploaded the new version to intrepid).

I have uploaded filezilla 3.0.11 to intrepid, test-built it in a hardy pbuilder, and can confirm it works in hardy.
