cursor shifts to different part of the document

Do you still have this problem with openoffice.org 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2 in Ubuntu 8.04?

>It still happens but I've got a feeling it's more to do with my typing style. I think I might occaissionaly touch the mouse pad on my laptop with the heel of my hand. I haven't verified this yet though.

I am new to Ubuntu 8. But judging from other people's comments this is a common problem. The cursor keeps jumping elsewhere no matter how careful you are. This may happen even a couple of times in a short line. Very annoying and it slows you down.
