[Wishlist] Live Build Logfile View

Bug Description

Dear Colleagues,

it would be nice to have a live representation of the build logfiles...
The opensuse build system has a nice feature for that...some ajax magic etc.

It would be quite useful to see what happens when the package is building (e.g. in PPAs when you don't want to stress your own server for the build)

Cool, we present the build "logtail"(the last 2k of the current buildlog) in the builder page. It's not exactly the same as a live-stream, but plays the same role.

not so easy :)

you actually need to build a package...and you need an OBS account...

I'll attach a screenshot...

As you can see, it has autoscroll and refreshing links (javascript/ajax) when you build a package it starts to show the output of the xen-chroot instance the package builds in...
the textbox around is being resized automagically...

I'm trying to create a screencast of this when I somehow find the time...:(

Thanks for the screenshot and further explanation. Now I see what you mean by live build logfile.

Retargeting to 3.0, which is the new name for 2.2.9. Haven't renamed the milestone as the 3.0 milestone is in a different series.
