virt-manager does not create qemu machine and gives no error

Bug Description

On the final step of creating a qemu machine, the 'Forward' button does nothing. No errors are printed to the console, and nothing happens. The user is in the kvm and libvirt groups.

Installed packages: virt-manager 0.5.4-2ubuntu1, libvirt0 0.4.4-0ubuntu1, libvirt-bin 0.4.4-0ubuntu1, python-libvirt 0.4.4-0ubuntu1

This was supposed to be tagged for ubuntu intrepid, but it says ubuntu only.
