fails to build from source

Bug Description

I've attached the output from 'debuild -us -uc'. The 1.01 tarball from upstream also fails to build with the same error, but svn r79 from upstream builds fine. I will work on packaging svn r79

  * Fix the pygtk_codegen deprecation (LP: #286965):
    - Add debian/patches/01_pygtk_codegen_deprecation_fix.dpatch (thanks to
      Jason Ribeiro).
    - Add debian/patches/02_autoconf_automake.dpatch to reflect the
      01_pygtk_codegen_deprecation_fix modifications to configure.ac and
      Makefile.am.
    - Add of dpatch in debian/control and modification of debian/rules to take
      it into account.
