Bad manpage for ctorrent

Bug Description

The man page for ctorrent looks like a template that didn't get edited -- it documents only an "--example" option (which doesn't actually exist), and a "bar" related command (which also doesn't exist).
I took some time to create a new ctorrent.1 roff file that's based on the usage information of the command, and am placing my work in the public domain (which means you can re-license it if you want).

Hi Jon-

Thanks for the bug report.

I have triaged it against the ctorrent package, rather than the manpage repository, as that's the package that provides the manpage itself.

This manpage is actually generated from SGML source. If you could provide this as a patch, I would be happy to sponsor it into Ubuntu, and pass it back to Debian.

From an Ubuntu system, run:
$ apt-get source ctorrent
$ sudo apt-get build-dep ctorrent

And work on ctorrent-1.3.4-dnh3.3.2/debian/ctorrent.sgml

Then, add a new entry in the debian changelog with:
$ dch -i

Next, build the binary package.
$ debuild

Then, make sure that the roff page came out correctly.
$ man -l ./ctorrent.1

Once that looks good, build a source package.
$ debuild -S

And generate a debdiff:
$ debdiff > /tmp/293722.debdiff

Once that looks good, attach it here and I can sponsor it for you.

Changes to ctorrent.sgml to fix man page Edit (15.2 KiB, text/plain)

Hi Dustin,

I have made the changes to the ctorrent.sgml file. Attached is debdiff. Note that upon building the package I got debsign errors which I circumvented with -us -uc. I'm new at this so I'm not sure if it matters at this point.

Looks good, thanks for doing this Jay. I just sponsored an upload to Jaunty.

One minor bit of feedback... Use "dch -i" next time to increment the
package version, rather than "dch -e", which edits the current
version.
