Thank for your report and your backtrace. Bu your backtrace does not contain the debug information because you do not have installes these following packages:

libpulse0-dbg libasound2-dbgsym libasound2-plugins-dbgsym gstreamer0.10-alsa-dbgsym libgstreamer0.10-0-dbg libgtk2.0-0-dbg

Can you try to recreate a backtrace with these packages installed please.

Oops lol sorry I was trying to grab the gdb backtrace in VirtualBox installation. I'll boot into Ubuntu and reattach the backtrace :)

By the way, the have some of the packages I listed, you have to add some repositories, see: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash

Sorry I'm unable to grab a backtrace, I reverted to Hardy after some new problems in Intrepid, I'll see if someone can grab a backtrace on IRC if possible.

Ok. Can you describe the procedure that allowed you to get a crash: which quality did you used? which driver did you used? ...

Hi,
This is using all defaults from a fresh install, no driver/setting changes applied, and no restricted drivers in use as I was running Intrepid in VirtualBox. Can't tell you the quality, but it's whatever the default is. Thanks :)
