Bug Description

When burning a DVD using Brasero 0.8.2 on Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10, Brasero gives an error just before finishing the burning process. The error says "Unhandled error. Aborting." The DVD seems to work fine though. (Some data at the end of the disk might be missing?)

I attach the Brasero session log. Do not hesiate to ask for more information if you need it.

This bug was fixed in the package brasero - 0.9.1-0ubuntu1

---------------
brasero (0.9.1-0ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low

  * New upstream release (LP: #319082)
    - Main highlight is the new libbrasero-media which results
      from the splitting brasero Some more work was done to make
      brasero work with other apps like totem, rhythmbox and
      sound-juicer Nautilus extension was updated
      (new hint, uses libbrasero-media).
    - #566721 – Wrong LDFLAGS introduced into BRASERO_*_LIBS
    - #567582 – Fails to burn a DVD iso
    - #561451 – Cannot burn CDs with brasero
    - #564748 – Brasero fails to burn DVDs (LP: #307939)
  * debian/control.in, debian/rules:
    - Split brasero in brasero, libbrasero-media0 and
      libbrasero-dev
  * debian/patches/010_lpi.patch, debian/patches/99_autoconf.patch:
   - Refresh for new upstream

I don't think this is fixed... at least not if this is actually the same bug as https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367054!

David, did you modify the gconf key /apps/brasero/config/dao_flag to be false? That is the fix for this bug.

Emilio: I will try that, but on taking another look, I may have been
overhasty in thinking this was the same bug. The other bug I was
looking at affects K3B as well, but IIRC brasero aborts early, and turns
DVD-R's into coasters.

Exactly the same happened to me on my Jaunty when writing an ISO image into a DVD-R.

I'm using brasero 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 on AMD64 arch.
