Bug Description

I have just installed Intrepid Ibex, and am trying to change the name of the computer. I have looked at the "Internet and Networks"->"Home Networks"->"Change the name of your computer" documentation in yelp.

It says: Open System ▸ Administration ▸ Network.

System ▸ Administration ▸ Network is not there on my machine.

In fact, I would like to name other computers on my network too, but I think I will have to resort to the old-fashioned method of editing /etc/hosts.

Should I file a separate bug about there being no way apparent to edit /etc/hosts graphically? Under Hardy, this could be done in the "Hosts" tab of System->Administration->Network (network-admin), but it's not installed in Intrepid. I see that it's possible to install gnome-network-admin, but shouldn't it be possible to do this by default?

I agree it should be and filing a separate bug would be best. For the time being I've removed this section from Networking.
