Bug Description

The new upstream version 2.6.0 of rsplib has been released. I have created an up to date Ubuntu package in my PPA: https://launchpad.net/~dreibh/+archive/ppa .

Differences between version 2.6.0 (new) and 2.5.0~rc1 (already in Ubuntu):
- Additional security features for registrar.
- Qt-based fractal example program now uses Qt 4.x instead of Qt 3.x (drops dependency on Qt 3.x)
- Bug fixes

Added debdiff file between existing rsplib-2.5.0~rc1 package and new rsplib-2.6.0 package.

That's not the diff.gz file. That file should contain only the debian directory. Do not create any debdiffs.

Thank you, that is the right file. I have some remarks regarding your upgrade.

1. I see that you modified the previous debian/changelog (the version number from intrepid). Please don't do that.
2. The release is jaunty, not intrepid, please change that.
3. Close this bug in the debian/changelog file. You can do this by adding (LP: #324959). It should look like this: * Updated Ubuntu package to latest release (LP: #324959).
4. You've also modifed debian/watch and didn't document the change in debian/changelog.

Please remember that it's very important to document every change in debian/changelog.

The attached .diif.gz file fixes the debian/changelog problems:
- Restored old entry for 2.5.0~rc1
- Release is "jaunty" now
- Added "LP: #324959"
- Added comment on watch file change
