Not possible to mark As Duplicate of private bug

The problem here lies on the validation function, the one that prevents dupes of dupes, that tries to access an attribute from the targetbug, which is private.

I'm curious: how did you end up wanting to dup one bug against
another, when only one of those bugs was visible to you?

After I'd filed it on behalf of 3rd party; later 4th party filed it aswell and told 3rd party who then informed me.

Assumingly enough, after Ubuntu had allocated a CVE number for it, 4th party then raised an internal irssi bug to 3rd based on the CVE.

Communication, communication, communication.

I'm happy for you to close this and open it again if it ever comes up again.
