Bug Description
Binary package hint: bash
Use Ubuntu 8.10, just tried to install bash-doc, but failed. Have to first uninstall gnupod-tools, and only then install bash-doc. Trying to reinstall gnupod-tools after that gives me the same error.

standard's position on the issue, and $@ and $* are now the only
variables, parameters, or special parameters that do not raise an
error when unset if set -u is enabled.
