Bug Description
The Device Manager GUI could use a "view by type" mode. By default theUbuntu device manager presents "view by connection" (or at least a close equivalent) which is fine if you know where the device is situated in the system.
After plugging in a USB Gamepad into my hub it took a bit of searching to figure out where the device was located in the view. My computer has 6 USB ports on the motherboard and a hub which provides an additional 7. The motherboard also has several "virtual" usb hubs on it to service all the on board ports. So I had to search for the gamepad among several different hubs that were being reported.
If there was a "view by type" mode I could simply look under a "Input Devices" (or something) section for the gamepad, or if the device was not detected properly a "Unknown Devices" section.

Since the device manager was removed sometime ago I guess this bug can be invalidated.
