The MIR states that enca does not have a test suite, but it appears that it does (see the test/ directory). It should be enabled for the builds.

Not sure why ubuntu-archive has been subscribed here, there's no action to be taken until the MIR is approved, and then the archive admins can pick this up from component-mismatches?

The tests are enabled at build time, see "make check-TESTS" in http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26164904/buildlog_ubuntu-karmic-i386.enca_1.9-7_FULLYBUILT.txt.gz
