Bug Description
When booting the Xubuntu beta live cd, login does not appear to be automatic. At the end of the boot process, the gdm login screen comes up. There would appear to be no indication of the default username (ubuntu) or the default password (left blank) at any stage during bootup. This would be a definite showstopper for a casual user interested in trying out a Linux system for the first time.

the bug #40689 has been reported as i guess it could be cosidered a "live cd autologin" issue more then just related to Xubuntu
