There is a new .1 release in Debian which is supposed to fix the dep on libdb4x but it FTBFSs. It needs a reconfigure to drop the X11R6 path for X but configure.in is incorrect also in determining the version of Berkley db.

This package appears to be fairly unmaintained upstream and has no rdepends. Should it just be dropped from the archive? Thank you.

I've subscribed the CJK team for input, since this package has to do with
Chinese input methods.

I'd rather try to build the Debian version and use that one.

um and do libdb++4.4-dev -> libdb++4.3-dev, maybe?

That won't fix it unfortunately. The way it is looking for the bdb version in configure.in is all wrong. See notes above, I have tried this with the Debian version :-). Thanks.

plase drop this package out , no one would use this as a input method in China, it's too out-ot-date.

Agreed, please drop it completely as it's way too outdated. It was only popular during around 2002-2003.
