It is in need of a patch because there is curently not upgrade available and
the development seem slow or inexistant.

Well I thought I had some resolution. I removed the libxmerl-perl dependency and copied xmerl.hrl and xmerl_xlink.hrl from the erlang package but now it's complaining trying to run lyx. Thanks.

I'm supposed to be the one making the patch to build manderlbot with Erlang 10.b.9. I have adopted the package a while ago in Debian. Real Life has not allowed be to get back working with Erlang.

xmerl 0.17 is available on erlang.org and probably compatible with manderlbot, but I understand that this kind of solution is not highly regarded, *but*, it'd work.

The truth is that I don't know how much work is required to make manderlbot work with Erlang 10.b. xmerl is certainly not the only thing that changed from Erlang 9 to 10.

As much as I'd like to, it is unlikely I'll have time to fix this before Dapper release. It should probably be removed.
