ubufox not loaded in Firefox 3.5 on karmic alpha 6 CD

If I reinstall the package it works. But it should work out of the box on the CD I would think.

Confirmed on Alpha 6. Ubufox is installed in the live environment, but it does not display in Firefox.

is this still an issue on livecd? i would need the timestamps of the following files:

/usr/lib/firefox-addons/ubufox*/install.rdf
also /usr/lib/firefox-3.5*/.autoreg
and /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.1*/.autoreg

this is an issue in the latest 20090929.2 livecd image, and it is also present in the installed version as well.

sorry. it was /usr/share/ubufox/install.rdf

this didnt made the beta train.

not having ubufox on livecd is loss of core functionality. targeted for karmic too.

please remove your .mozilla directory (e.g. clean) ... then run:

strace -eopen,stat -f firefox 2>&1 | tee /tmp/strace.log.txt

and attach the log after firefox started.

received three independent confirms that ubufox now works on livecd. 2 on i386, 1 on amd64. on top i verified myself on live-usb key (i386) is fixed, so i would think we can safely close this bug. Not sure what caused this. If you see this again please let us know and directly ping me on irc.
