Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-store

If you have an application in software-store that is installed and a new version of it is available to update/upgrade you cannot remove it, there is only the one button and it gets allocated to upgrading

Fixed as we no longer have an upgrade button :-)

However this bug will probably come back to haunt us for 2.0...

Not fixed in trunk r421. Please use "Fix Committed" only for bugs that have been fixed in trunk (or fixed in the package branch for a nominated release).

This is a very serious issue for me, as I can't update Wine, or uninstalll it.

I had added a new repository for the beta version of wine, and it says that the existing Wine software is preventing me from upgrading. I can't uninstall it, because I have to update to uninstall, and I cant update, because I need to uninstall it.

This is fixed in lucid now. The upgrade button is removed and it will only show [install] or [remove]
