Trivially repeatable on 1:3.2.8-11ubuntu6 on precise:

/bin/kill -s

(Should have a signal name as a param to -s)

It looks to me like the kill -s is fixed in the 3.3.2-3 in debian via a larger upstream rework.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Quantal Quetzal (procps 1:3.3.3.-2ubuntu3)

If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention; however I suspect it's not a significant enough bug to need it.
