dapper-server doesn't install server

I did see this in the mirror's apache error.log:

same problem with dapper desktop.

I did a pxe server install yesterday that did not use a preseed file. it did not error. using the attached preseed file did.

I just learned about the new name: dapper-alternate-i386.iso

my nightly refresh's wernt getting that. But they were getting http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/daily/current/dapper-server-i386.iso, which is what I did the server install from.

I am getting the new version now - eta 5h. I leave for vacation in 18 hours, so I may not be able to test this till June 15 (a bit late...)

For ubuntu-server, dapper-server-* *is* the one you want, not dapper-alternate-*.

Carl, there is one line on the preseed which is wrapped. Maybe that's just a typo..

anyway, I think this is due to your own mirror setup. Try not to preseed the mirror-stuff and see how it goes.

I am pretty sure the problem was me using the CD as the repo, and yet the install was getting an updated .. package list?... from the web. so yeah, my 'mirror' (which is just the cd) wasn't upto date.
