Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
Monitor is Nokia Multigraph 445Xpro 21", capable of resolutions up to 2048 x1536.
Under 9.04 the monitor was correctly detected, but max resolution was limited to 1600x1200.
After upgrade to 9.10: It is detected as Nokia 19" monitor, right after upgrade the
max resolution or 2048 x 1536 was supported (note while desktop effects caused all windows
to be black, it worked fine with desktop effects disabled).
After latest update, max resolution offered is now 1280 x 1024, the monitor is still
incorrectly detected as Nokia 19".
Finding Technical Specs on this monitor is tough now, I did come up with:
Aspect Ratio 5:4
Max. Resolution 1800 x 1440
Resolutions supported 1280 x 1024 • 1600 x 1200 • 1800 x 1350 •
Sync Range - Vertical 50 - 150 Hz
Sync Range - Horizontal 30 - 121 kHz
Dot Pitch 0.21 mm
Native Resolution 1800 x 1440
While it claims max resolution of 1800 x 1440, I can drive at higher resolution
from Win2k, and it was working, albeit briefly, at a higher resolution under karmic.
