Bug Description

2.6. Permanently disable/enable boot-up services

=>Enter your password.

This not always the case, since the password is cached for 15 minutes by default. Furthermore this step was skipped in all other step-by-step howtos.

Either skip this step or add a note about the caching.

I think we can skip this step and trust that the user will understand what is going on when prompted to insert their password... It is explained in the relevant root-and-sudo section. anyone else have any strong views?

Yes, you should avoid including the bleeding obvious in lists of instructions. Concentrate only on steps that people are likely to have trouble with.

Sorry, I should have provided the reference for that, but couldn't remember where it was until now: <http://knabedesign.com/articles/applehelp/applehelp.html>, Guideline 6.
