Bug Description

Today I inspected some intrepid system because I want to install moin 1.9 with wsgi on it soon.

I found that intrepid still has libapache2-mod-wsgi 2.3 and my first thought was "oh crap, the same buggy version that was in debian lenny for too long". jaunty also seems to still have 2.3. IIRC, 2.3 was the only mod-wsgi version that ever made trouble to me.

For the details, see there: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=526154

Debian fixed it in lenny by upgrading the buggy 2.3 to 2.5.

I looked for backports to intrepid or whether some current karmic or lenny package works on intrepid, but there was none / it did not.

So please: could ubuntu intrepid and jaunty also get a fixed package SOON? Maybe you could just do the same thing as Debian did.

Added "affects moinmoin" (I didn't reproduce it with moin/mod-wsgi on intrepid, but it likely does, because this was a upstream bug of mod-wsgi 2.3).

Intrepid is no longer supported, and if you want newer packages for jaunty. You can ask for a backport, information can be found at:
