Gnome save/save as dialog expand button strange behavior

Bug Description

When I click on the expand button (the small black triangle) in Gnome save/save as dialog, it expands its size for a moment - and then shrink back again. Although the dialog itself is "expanded" (that means I can choose another directory), its unexpanded size makes it nearly useless. When I click on it again, it behaves the proper way, but by repeating clicking I can get sometimes the same bad result mentioned above.

Hi, it seems that this bug is already fixed, or something else caused that
it stopped to appear. I'm currently using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Dapper Drake)
with all udates. A while ago I tried the daily build of the next Ubuntu
release (Feisty Fawn) and the Save/Save as dialog is working
flawlessly.Thanks a lot for fixing this annoying bug in gtk+2.0 (if it was a
bug and not configuration issue on my box). I think that is possible to
close it now.
