Bug Description

Ubuntu 6.06 on one PC and Kubuntu 6.0.6 on another PC. In between Belkin OmniView SE 2-port. If both systems are already booted, and THEN you add the switch into the mix it works fine. However when switching back and forth the mouse goes crazy (tried 3 mice, 1 optical 2 "standard". Moves all over, can't click on anything etc.

For X windows, if booting with switch box connected, all X settings are gone, goes back to 800x600, can change them in the GUI Display application either (like it doesn't know what video card I have).

It seems as if you might be having the same issue as https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/48939/
I am trying to figure out which KVM model he is using. I use a Belkin OmniCube 2-Port F1D092 (Linux-Tested.com) model.

Here are a couple of links to check out:

* http://www.ubuntuforums.org/search.php?searchid=6197511 <-this is a KVM general search in the forums

Maybe there is something there that might help in the mean time. Thank you.
