application icon doesn't disappear when minimized to tray

Bug Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?
 open rhythmbox and minimize it to tray by clicking on the tray icon.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
pinned apps should change to starters again, not pinned apps should disappear.

What do you see instead?
The button doesn't change. its still there as a window button until hovering over with the mouse or sometimes right clicking.
There are no errors displayed in terminal output.

It's acting as supposed on my computer. Does it happen every time or just occasionally? What versions are you using?

im using x.0.24.0 and yes every time. And it seems there are others too who are affected: http://bigrza.deviantart.com/art/tonkybar-for-DockbarX-140364738 http://bigrza.deviantart.com/art/Human-Bar-143713543 . i tried every theme i have and rhythmbox behaves always the same.

oh yeah its rhythmbox 0.12.5. system is Mint 8 Helena 64bit but had the same problem on ubuntu karmic 64bit fresh install.

That video tells something important. When you click on one instance of dockbarx the picture dissappears from both. That suggest, I suppose, that the problem is somewhere within wnck and not in dockbarx. When you right-click on the group-button, wnck is called to check if the windows are maximized and/or minimized. I would guess that wnck is missing the close message from the window (perhaps because rythmbox is sending a minimize message on the same time, I dont know?). Wnck is realizing that the window is closed first when it checks the state of the window.

As a double check, does vanilla dockbar behave the same way as dockbarx?

Ok, then the problem is probably wnck related. I have no clue how to fix it.

I'm stupid. Windows that are minimized to tray are not closed at all, of course. The flag skip_taskbar is set instead and DockbarX didn't look for changes in that one. Now it does.
