Twinkle Backport from Edgy (0.71?)

Bug Description

The version in Dapper is hilariously outdated, and the version in Edgy works fine on Dapper, if I do a dpkg --unpack (which, I know, is unwise).
Adds a few new options.

Or add the 0.8 version that's released on july 1st. The latest version of twinkle are the only sip clients that allow me to use phone menu's with my SIP-provider Xs4all.

Alright, looks good. I'll take a closer look at building it.

Works great for me! Now i can finally use DTMF. When i run twinkle from terminal i only get this error:

X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 168
  Major opcode: 148
  Minor opcode: 3
  Resource id: 0x0
Failed to open device
X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 168
  Major opcode: 148
  Minor opcode: 3
  Resource id: 0x0
Failed to open device

But i don't think it has something to do with twinkle, i've had the same error earlier.

Thanks for the backport!

However it works for me as well - thanks! - is there a chance to port the 0.9 release from 10/01/2006?

I'll have a look at backporting the current feisty twinkle to dapper... Twinkle's a good app to have
