Bug Description

Thomas Esser, maintainer of teTeX, will not make any new releases to TeTeX so it would be nice to have TeX Live as an option (so we can get bug fixes etc.) in Dapper.

I'm confused -- is this a dapper/edgy package or some kind of functionality to tetex?

TeX Live is a Edgy package:

It's expected to replace the teTeX package.

texlive was recently accepted in debian/unstable, and thous has been synced to edgy. AFAIUI, texlive is not as monolithic as tetex, but split into different modular packages. Personally, I'd rather wait and test it a bit more before using it on production systems.

Given this information, I will reject this request due to reason of instability/bleeding-edgeness. When we know more about the reliability/quality of the new texlive, we will re-evaluate it as a backport.
