Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Scenario: Installing Ubuntu 6.06 on a computer that already had the redmond alternative os, and two NTFS partitions. Selecting to manually edit the partition table.

Problem: In the "Prepare Mount points" window the mount points for the NTFS partitions got reset / blanked by accident. (/media/hda1 /media/hdb1) Pressing the "Back" button and then the "Forward" button did not fill in these fields with the defaults again.

This bug can probably be closed as is, without further investigating or work.

Sorry for the delay in responding to this. The new advanced partitioner in Feisty has entirely different handling of mount points, and certainly shouldn't suffer from this bug in this form; in fact, I think at present it will reinitialise mount points if you go back and forward.
