Bug Description

If I run:

sudo uck-remaster kubuntu-10.04-beta1-desktop-i386.iso test/

I get the following error message:

chroot: cannot run command `/tmp/customization-scripts/customize': No such file or directory

If one changes line 146 in uck-remaster to:

$SCRIPTS_DIR/uck-remaster-chroot-rootfs "$CUSTOMIZE_DIR/customize" "$REMASTER_HOME"

Then uck-remaster seems to be to working. Is there any reason, why the path to the customize script was hard-coded? I'm using the latest available uck (2.0.12-0ubuntu2) package.

this is wrong, that command runs inside the chroot environment thus it right to hardcode /tmp/, in the chroot environment the customization scripts are copied in /tmp

Nevertheless I get the following error message:

chroot: cannot run command `/tmp/customization-scripts/customize': No such file or directory

if I run:

sudo uck-remaster kubuntu-10.04-beta1-desktop-i386.iso test/

while inside the test/ directory there is the customize script. So, what I'm doing wrong?

This bug was fixed in the package uck - 2.2.0-0ubuntu1

---------------
uck (2.2.0-0ubuntu1) maverick; urgency=low

  * New upstream release:
    - Add Ubuntu 10.04 support (LP: #544555).
    - Fix crash due to the use of hard coded path for custom scripts,
      fixes LP: #547260.
  * Drop all patches, applied upstream.
  * Bump Standards.
  * Remove debian/README.source, now unnecessary.
