Issue:
No sound from either headset jacks.

There is a test report for Dell Studio XPS 1340 which is similar but not exact for yours. please is it possible to add your laptop to the testing/ laptop/ reports page found on https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Testing/ Laptop/ Reports.

This will help greatly to catch bugs for other users.
PS The XPS 1340 passes all requirements so there might not be a bug with audio after all.
