Bug Description
From the /dev/.initramfs
Resizing root filesystem ...
resize2fs 1.41.11 (14-Mar-2010)
Please run 'e2fsck -f /dev/mmcblk0p2' first.
I get this on 8G & 16G SD cards. Sometimes on 4G as well.
One issue I have seen with the test image provided on 20100609 is that the root filesystem is larger than the physical partition. This can be tested after writing the image to an SD card and looking at the filesystem on the host PC.
