Installation Error

Bug Description

The Ubuntu fails to install on a partition in which the installation process was started but abandoned. The installation gets hanged at any point during installation.

I assume you are using the desktop installer. Can you tell me more about the exact steps required to reproduce the error?

You may consider trying the text install via the alternate iso. I've had issues before of the live CD not being able to partition the drive. It mostly happens in laptops.

The text install has always worked flawless for me... Just a tip
