Binary package hint: base-installer

pxe booted daily edgy alternate just started asking "Detect keyboard layout?"

It does it before the preseed file is loaded.

Here are my kernel parameters:

kernel ubuntu/edgy/alternate/install/netboot/ubuntu-installer/i386/linux

append initrd=sc/e-a/initrd.gz ramdisk_size=16098 root=/dev/rd/0 rw debian-installer/locale=en_US kconsole-keymaps-at/keymap=us kbd-chooser/method=us netcfg/wireless_wep= netcfg/get_hostname= DEBCONF_DEBUG=5 preseed/url=http://shaz/preseed-alt-testing.cfg --

Preseed files will need to be changed, and we need to work out exactly how preseeding works for console-setup.

console-setup 1.7ubuntu10 should make preseeding work properly. You need to replace "console-keymaps-at/keymap=us kbd-chooser/method=us" with "console-setup/layoutcode=us". I'll update the manual shortly.
