I Booting (media DATA checkd DVD-R) edubuntu LiveDVD on IBM System x3105 with USB DVD Drive.
Choise a English language and desktop logon.
The error happens at every 1st logon time.

I'm experiencing this bug with a new installation of Edubuntu 11.10 (in a Xen domU under Debian squeeze amd64). It makes iTalc completely unusable. I can also reproduce this bug with the latest Edubuntu 11.10 live CD booting on a Xen HVM domU under Debian squeeze amd64. GDB stack trace attached. HVM domU configuration as follows:
