package spider (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: попытка перезаписать /usr/games/spider, который уже имеется в пакете ace-of-penguins 1.3-0ubuntu1

The packages provides the same file : /usr/games/spider.
IMO, the best solution is to rename spider from ace-of-penguins (something like spider-ace for the binary and the desktop file).

I guess I have found the missing bits in ace-of-penguins source:

in /debian/rules a line has to be added :
line 27 "spider \" (between "solitaire \" and "taipedit \")

and in /debian a file has to be added
"penguin-spider.desktop"
with contents
(BOF)
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=Penguin Spider
GenericName=
Comment=
Icon=
Exec=/usr/games/ace-spider
Terminal=false
Categories=Game;CardGame;
(EOF)

This should care for naming the executable file ace-spider (similar to all other games in ace-of-penguins) and care for providing the required information for automatic adding to the desktop application starter.

As I am rather new to launchpad I do not know how to create a new version of ace-of penguins that incorporates these changes (not even how to create a diff file), I hope someone who is able to do this will pick it up.

Just saw that an update for spider is also missing in another file in the debian subdirectory:

in debian/menu (I do not know what that file is used for) two lines have to be added

?package(ace-of-penguins):needs="X11" section="Games/Card"\
  title="Penguin Spider" command="/usr/games/ace-spider"

information about spider is also missing in some other files, e.g.
debian/ace-of-penguins.6.orig.man
debian/ace-of-penguins.6.pod

Attached my first try with a debdiff file with the patch, I hope it works.

Looks good me. Do you test if it build correctly on Ubuntu Natty, with a PPA or a pbuilder ?
I'll proceed it in the next days, thank you for your contribution.

@Julien Laverne: I just set up a pbuilder environment for the first time (with success thanks to the wiki packaging guide and PbuilderHowto), and I can confirm that the new version builds on maverick and on natty.
