Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

On an up to date natty upgraded from maverick today, Alt+F2 (run application) no longer works. I tried with both my user and the guest session. Using xev I see that both Alt and F2 are being properly recognized, but ';3Q' is sent to the current window (ie, that is what I see if a gnome-terminal is in focus and I press 'Alt+F2'. This worked on maverick.

Workaround: use 'Add to Panel' 'Run application' to create a panel entry.

Thank you for your bug report, the gnome-panel shortcut handling didn't change recently but it could be an issue with the new compiz rather

enable the gnome-compat pluging to get Alt + F2 back. Next compiz upload will set it by default.
