Unity does not allow fullscreen

similarly when screensaver comes up, panel is also visible

dont think its a duplicate of bug 652937 its rather like fullscreen case is not yet implemented for unity-compiz

This only fixed the issue for the screensaver / lock window. The unity screen still loads over other fullscreen windows.

Still happening on natty alpha 3 up to date.

Neither google chrome, firefox, vlc nor totem has fullscreen mode without panels.

Just tested firefox and totem and both are working in full screen. Must be something wrong on your end.

It is known not to work with > 1 screen (unity paints twice, once
below, once above)
